A community needs survey focused on the future of parks in Kechi will be mailed to all Kechi households.

The City of Kechi has commissioned the development their first ever system wide Parks Master Plan. The purpose of the project is to develop a community-supported comprehensive Parks Master Plan that provides guidance for future development and redevelopment of the City’s parks. The Parks Master Plan will help guide policy development, assist in prioritizing demands and opportunities, and generate a strategic action plan. This plan will create a clear set of goals, policies, and objectives thus providing direction to City staff, the Park Board, and City Council.

We realize that this survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, but each question is important. The time you invest in completing this survey will aid the City in taking a resident-driven approach to making decisions that will enrich the future of our community and positively affect the lives of all its residents.

Please watch your mail over the next few weeks for the survey. You will have the option to either complete the paper form and return it in an enclosed postage-paid envelope or take the survey online.

We have selected ETC Institute, an independent consulting company, as our partner to administer this survey. They will compile the data received and deliver the results to the City later this year. Your responses will remain confidential. You may receive a phone call from ETC as they work to collect the needed number of responses.
